Sit on the deck and look out to the sea views allowing you to watch the amazing sun rise out of the Pacific Ocean each morning. After a few minutes walk along the beach you will arrive at a very well renowned surfing spot, Manganaunu. Only 12 minutes’ drive north of Kaikoura, situated on the oceanfront side of the state highway and right next to the railway track – it can be quite neat to get a wave from the train driver.
